Spinning dreams
There probably aren't a whole lot of spinners here (yet?), but here's an icon for anyone who wants it:

The sheep is technically not currently spinning with the spindle, since I couldn't figure out how to have it holding the "fiber" coming out of the logo, so I figure it's just taking a rest. :D

Is there any chance you'll be at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival this weekend?

You know, every spinner I've ever met has been
a pushereager to teach others how to do it. If there's a fiber arts guild or fiber shop in the area, I bet you could get the basics pretty quickly. If that's not an option, here's how to make a good, inexpensive spindle for under $5 and a good, basic instruction video that answers most beginner's questions.
Oops, that was possibly more reply than you expected. ;)

(I am also a spinner, and looking forward to Shepherd's Harvest out here next weekend.)
