I was wondering if there were any general icons that had to do with dreamwidth? I wanted to upload one to my LJ to advertise this place.

I don't know of any DW communities for general DW icons. At least not any that are active.

If you'd like a DW icon with your username, I'm sure someone here (like me!) could make you one. What did you have in mind?

maybe something that says dreamwidth with their logo and something about 'we still have subject lines.' :P

Sorry, but no, this really isn't the comm you're looking for! As it states in the userinfo, this is just a comm for the dreamsheep and anything related to them. It's not a general-purpose icon comm, and I'm not really sure where to point you for more general-purpose stuff.

DW users are notoriously friendly, and someone may have an answer for you (ETA: Ah ha, and in the time it took to type this, someone stepped in, yay!), so I figure I'll go ahead and leave this post up. But in the future, please make sure there's a dreamsheep or a request for dreamsheep in your posts here; anything else is off-topic and belongs elsewhere. Thanks!

The DW Wiki has a collection of DW-specific icons. Also,

iconic had some DW-specific icons, back in the day. Ask the admin (and I see it's changed hands while I was away), but you could probably request something there, too.
