Question!

I need your opinion. Should I make the dreamsheep smaller so the background in these icons is more visible? Are you able to identify where the dreamsheep is?

Dreamsheep_sydneyoperaPhotobucket

The dreamsheep is in front of Sydney's Opera and London's BigBen. I'm working too with Egypt's pyramids, China's Great Wall, Mexico's Chichen Itza's pyramid, Italy's Tower of Pisa and France's Eiffel Tower. But I first need to make up my mind. Should I make the sheep smaller so it appears complete? Should I cut more of the bottom of it, so the space for the background is bigger? Or should I keep it as it is in these icons?

Also, I made 17 more icons in three different styles (see the one I'm using in this post) and 2 colorbars (or my attempt at colorbars, actually), and already have in the works another batch. But I don't want to spam this community, so I'll wait a few more days before posting them :).

The first icon is Sydney and the second is London, yes?

I can see what they are, but it does take a little work! Much though I hate to lose out on sheep, I think a little smaller wouldn't hurt.

(Also, can I request Mount Rainier or possibly the Space Needle? I would squee ever so much!)

I can't do these sheep, don't know how, but would you be able to sligthly rotate them and shift them to the side of the background, cutting the sheep in half with just the top/head of the sheep in the icon?

Does that make no sense at all? Sorry, it's late night on a Fri after a long hard week. :(

I love 'em. However, I'm also thinking that with something tall like the bridge or Big Ben (or the Eiffel Tower :D :D :D) you could let it stick up above the word "width" in Dreamwidth? ...since it's hardly necessary to read all of that word.

Or have a smaller sheep. Hee: a really smaller sheep - it would be like Where's Waldo DreamSheep?

I'm with the idea of moving it a bit to the side or down, rather than shrinking it.

Also: the Angel of the North would be ace!

Had no trouble recognizing the Big Ben but not quite sure about the first one. It looks familiar but it's been oversheeped maybe a little bit to be easy recognizable /nods.

If I can think of something really Dutch and can find a proper image for it, could I bug you for making a dutch sheepsie too?!:) I love them dreamsheep but I myself suck at anything photoshoplike..

When I shrunk my sheep I scaled it to about 85% 60%. Still a nice size, but let's the background through. ::points:: I think that would benefit your designs a lot.

I'd love to have an icon for Minneapolis with the Spoonbridge and Cherry (a.k.a. the Cherry Spoon) in the background! :-D

Awesome! Thank you! And yes, we love our Cherry Spoon sculpture. ;-) If you're ever in Minneapolis, the Walker Art Center's Sculpture Garden is a must-see, especially if the weather's nice.
